I am not sure I understand the question. The serial number must be unique and the manufacturer creates the number. For example Storm often puts the date the ball is made and some lettering to identify the the model. Sometimes a 'regrind' or second has an indication included. What are you trying to find out?

Trying to find what year of the ball, i believe Radical use letters for numbers...(why would they do they do that?) Thanks.

The Yeti Unleashed was USBC approved in Feb. 2014, But that might not be when that particular ball was poured.

Why? Because that's the way most ball serial numbers have been done, Many companies use a alpha-numeric code system for mfg. dates , Batch #, Plant etc.

Brunswick used a letter combo at the beginning of their serial number to indicate a month/day combination. Since Radical is connected to Brunswick they probably use the same or similar system.

Example The Old chart of Brunswick Serial Number codes.

First letter is the month.
A - Jan. B - Feb. C - Mar. D - April E - May F - June
G - July H - Aug. I - Sept. J - Oct. K - Nov. L - Dec.

Second letter is the year
F - 1992 G - 1993 H - 1994 I - 1995 J - 1996 K - 1997 L - 1998 M - 1999 N - 2000
O - 2001 P - 2002 R - 2003 S - 2004 T - 2005 Y - 2006 Z - 2007 A - 2008

But now this has changed since they moved to Mexico.
