If I had 6 hours to chop down a tree I would spend the first 4 sharpening the axe.

I could be mistaken, but I think that is a plastic ball. For a period of time, Brunswick was using the Zone name in the Target Zone series of plastic balls. Pancake core and polyester cover.

Methinks he is correct. This was before they were called T-Zones. Don't know if they have the present little bell core or pancake slab under the cover/3pc.
SN# BN is Feb. 2000 manufactured date.
NO pin and CG is above SN#, just like mine.

Does it have another engraving on the ball that looks like this

I think that "pin" is NOT what you're thinking of as a marked core /low RG PIN. Those were on a lot of the older 3 piece pancakes even back in the day from different manufacturers. I wouldn't put any stock in it. It's probably over 9 inches from the CG center of the SN#. Probably exactly 1/2 the circum of the ball. So, my best guess is plastic but who really knows lacking any other logo or reference to mdl. on the ball & no box. So it's a crap shoot at best. There's other stuff out there for cheaper if you're patient. AND you'll KNOW what it is.
