Brunswick should put out a remake of the quantum helix

Post by mrbean »

ever since i saw a guy throwing a quantum helix at a local bowling alley i always wanted one, but what changes would have to be made for today's lanes or would it be alright as is.
here's a video posted 4 years ago of someone bowling a 279 with one

this guy also has a double helix

If I had 6 hours to chop down a tree I would spend the first 4 sharpening the axe.

Unlikely. High production cost and there was a problem with the urethane strip coming off the ball.
I used to own one, granted it was back before I knew how to throw it good, but it wasnt all that.
More of a novelty than a functional ball.
It was so odd that when WRW Jr. won with it on tour they had to drill it sideways to get it to roll good for him, off the urethane and mostly on the PK18 caps.
