Sorry Jim it has been a while, I have already noticed the swing radius is off and how to change that is need. I do better when I do extend the arms during the arm swing but this is my normal without thinking about it. Any advice?

Generic comment and opinion.
I frequently recommend bowler's maintain a self archive.
This can show progress, prevent slumps, etc.
If you have analysis from Jim or your own private coach, create a binder and video archive.
Copy to a flash drive for backup and portability.

Side View
By the time you get to the slide labeled S5 you are in a good position.
But, from there through release you need to work on a few items.
From S5 as your slide foot moves forward your ball falls simultaneously. There needs to be some lag of the swing starting downward.
In the slide labeled Side View, you can see as Jason starts his side his arms first straighten out behind before coming down. This move accomplishes two things, it created lag in the swing and creates a larger swing radius. The larger swing radius creates the potential for more ball speed.
You bring the ball down with both arms still bent (a shorter swing radius) and they are still bent through release.
I see you have a slide sock on your left foot, and you continue sliding quite a bit after release. This causes your release timing to be a little early resulting in a loss of leverage and power (RPM).

Back View

In Slide B3 your hand appears to be positioned correctly behind the ball.
In B4 through B6 I don’t like the movement of your ball side arm.
Look at the slide labeled “Side View” that show a comparison of you and Jason.
As you swing moves back it moves away from your side and the ball side hand moves is positioned towards the outside of the ball.

This move going back results in your right hand being too fall around the ball entering the release area.

Now, look how Jason keeps the right arm close to his body going back with his right hand positioned behind the ball. Therefore, his right hand will be behind the ball entering the release area.


Straightening the arms: (first without the ball, then with the ball)
No slide sock!
1) Move up on the approach and assume your top of swing position.
2) Start the slide foot forward and extend the arms away from the body.
3) The slide foot should be stopped before the arms reach the release area.
4) Swing the arms into the release area.
