After bowling the TAT and seeing how my game held up under some pretty tough conditions, I felt like I needed to make some changes.
- Soften up my hand at release
- Loosen up my armswing
- Try to pick up a little more RPM to read patterns better
To do this, I felt like I needed to get back to a more traditional pushaway. I could free up my swing a bit and, in turn, soften up my hand. I hoped this would translate to more revs naturally (spoiler....it did).
Here's where I was right before Vegas. Jim and I had discussed trying to get the ball to move forward some before the hinge. Also, he wanted me about 1/2 step later with starting my swing.

Here's where I am now.

With the full pushaway, I'm falling back into the spine tilt change. That will improve, but it's a new feel. I feel like I'm still just a freckle early, but it's better than where I was with the hinge. I noticed when reviewing these that I'm cheating my pushaway left. I'll work on that.
My swing feels much looser and a bit shorter, but, as you see, it's not. There is as little tension in my swing as I can remember in a very long time and I've got a ton at the release if I need it. I haven't taped a ball up to guesstimate the RPM, but I'm guessing I'm pushing 400 now, if not a tad more. I like this as it definitely blends out patterns.
I'm sticking with this, feels more natural, just need to fine tune some things. As always, I'm open to comments.
I am aware that my footwork needs work, but that's another thread and probably a full summer

The Hinge as defined in the Free Swing Drill found in the WIKI:
A) Move the arm / ball forward until the ball side elbow is at the front of the body. The arm should not lock in place during ball placement.
B) Then allow the arm to unhinge and freely swing the ball into the back swing
