Are you on the BowlingChat Map?

Post by MegaMav » April 12th, 2013, 3:30 am

I'd like to continue to get the map filled out with member tags, coaches, pro shops.
If you have a business, this is your chance to get your name on the map.
We reference it with some frequency, so if a new member is looking for help from a local business, its your chance to get a leg up on the competition.

Even if you dont have a business and you're a member, you can add your username and the city & state you reside. Just use City, State for the address to avoid being specific about your location.

Reference the map here: http://map.bowlingchat.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Click "Add new marker" to add your tag, be sure to select the correct type (coach, member, pro shop, etc..)

Welcome to the forum!

Yes you can. Adding these to the map is your way of saying they are good resources.
Look at post #2 on this thread for a link to a map primer.
Note that you can add things but not change or delete.
You might consider fleshing out your profile with a location, adding a signature too.

Other items related to the UCP function.

Take care.

The map is going away soon when I upgrade the forum.
We will only have the forum and wiki remain.

It was a good idea and well motivated.

Not all good ideas are accepted however.

Thanks for giving it a go!
