I am just curious. Does anyone know his Revs rate, PAP measurement, Normal axis rotation and tilt? I tried googling it, but found no info about it.
Also, what is his dual angle sweet spot layout?
Thanks

Since I did his layouts for 5 yrs. when he bowled with MoRich, I feel qualified to answer this.
WRW's PAP is 5 1/2 over by 1/4 up. He has 7* of tilt and 40* of axis rotation.
We used three layouts.
60 / 3 1/4 / 25
75 / 4 1/4 / 35
Double Thumb
Hope that answers your curiosity.

Thanks Mo, I was actually hoping that you'd be the one to answer the question. By the way, what about his revs rate? anyone?

40 degrees of axis rotation when he's playing the typical lines we see on TV (up 5/10), or is that when he's playing more of a track-type line? I always pegged his up-the-boards shot at closer to 25ish degrees.

I just wanted to add that on the Morich website, one of the archived news articles also says, "WRW's championship ball was an 'Ntense LevRG drilled with a 60 degree drilling angle, pin 2 3/4" from the PAP, 25 degree angle to the VAL with the balance hole in the P2 location."Mo Pinel wrote:

Re: Walter Ray's specs and layout request
Thanks for the "Wow!". I remember that layout well. WRW, Jr. has very similar delivery stats to lot's of the bowlers who post here. Low tilt (7*), low rotation (40*), and speed dominant. Jimmy Tomek and I devised this layout for him. It was his number #4 layout. 2.4:1 angle ratio because of his low rotation and tilt. 85* sum of the angles because he is speed dominant. 2 3/4" pin to PAP distance for large flare and to slightly help him retain axis rotation and tilt. 360 surface so he can fire it, which he likes to do. "I love it when a plan comes together!"JJR247 wrote: I just wanted to add that on the Morich website, one of the archived news articles also says, "WRW's championship ball was an 'Ntense LevRG drilled with a 60 degree drilling angle, pin 2 3/4" from the PAP, 25 degree angle to the VAL with the balance hole in the P2 location."
