FIGJAM Alert! I finally did it!!

Post by blueraider86 »

*FIGJAM Alert* I finally did it!

My last sanctioned 700 was a 705 back in 1987. Ever since then I have come close at least 100 times with 670's, 680's, 690's...

Well tonight I go 243, 248, 233 for 724!!!!!

I finally got the monkey off of my back! I am averaging over 200 but the 724 felt awesome. I lowered my push-away and tucked my pinky like I did back in the day and it worked on what could be described as a Cheetah like pattern. (The 2 board hooked out of the house. The inside was pretty flat.)

In four game tourneys I have come close to a four game set of 936 which is a 700 plus 234 (234 x 3 = 702)

Once I started with 716 and then shot 157! Another I started with 156 and then I shot 735! I always have trouble putting 3 together for a three game league or 4 games together for a four game league or tourney qualifier, but tonight I finally put 3 together for 724!

Thanks for letting me FIGJAM a little!

Thanks! It was a 24 year old monkey off of my back! The 694 I had a couple of years ago really hurt, so this was vengeance!

If open play and pot game scores counted, it would be another story but those 700's were not sanctioned.
