Pin length

Post by heywoodjay »

Can anyone tell me the effective difference between drilling an asym ball that has a pin of say 3.5" vs. a pin that is about 2" with everything else being the same? Any help would be appreciated.

CG location has approximately 2-4% bearing on ball reaction. Safe to ignore.
Surface changes and bowler shot variance accounts for more.
