League Bowling Your Preferred Team Size.

Post by kajmk »

What is your preference and why?
Your opinion on the pros and cons of team sizes?

Stay safe.
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.

Team of 3. There is a steady flow of bowling. Unlike team of 4 or 5, where the time between shots is too long. Singles is too fast and tiring.

4 or 5 is too slow, imo. 2-3 is about perfect.

For competing and a test of skill I prefer 5 person teams. I believe you have to have better bowling skills particularly lane reading and transition skills.

For scoring I prefer 3 person. The pace is not too quick but you can get in a rhythm and the lanes do not transition as quickly.
