New Youtube channel

Post by TheJesus »

Hello people ! I hope everyone is well. During thew COVID19 quarantine i decided to start a You Tube channel about some ideas i have, mainly somebowling experiments, tests, and reviews. It might host some other bowling related videos too.

I am a You Tube newbie, and have no gear to film stuff, so i make do with what i can for now (mainly my phone lol ). I am just focusing on the content.
Feel free to watch, and if you find it interesting, please subscribe, like, hit the notifications bell button, or even help via Patreon.

Constructive feedback is very welcome :) Thanks !

Watched your first video, the Scotch Brite gray pad. This is my predominate, go-to material for my surface. I have always believed it to be 1500. I can buy the same material at a woodworking supply store and it's clearly rated at 1500. I use it wet, with some hand pressure, using a spinner. It does a pretty good job of dulling the ball, more than just taking off polish. I'm looking forward to seeing it used wet, using a spinner. Appreciate your efforts with the non-woven pads.

Unfortunately the shop i bought it from didn't have it in a bag or box with markings, but i believe it is either the 7448 light gray 1500 or the 6448 which is around 1000. If you know of an indirect way of sorting it out, please tell me, thanks !

If stated i havnt read, but how long do these pads last, do they wear down like the other popular ones?

I haven't performed thorough tests yet, but from what i used so far, i'd say it seems quite probable they last longer. Combined with the fact that they are cheaper as well, they are a good option. It's just you don't know what they do to the ball if you don't test it with a scanner. That is why i started a video series about them :)

New video up ! Can these two known pads "crack the shine" ? What do they exactly do on a factory shine type of surface? Find out here : ---->
