I thought I'd start a topic dealing with Anatomy. While researching rotator cuff information, one of the ones I found helpful was by Sam Webster.
I like his style.
As you watch or read various lectures or instruction, you may find this and similar information will enhance your understanding. For example, the ETBF coaching video has some surface discussion pertaining to the muscles, joints, etc involved in bowling.

Watching this video, it is easy to understand why rotator cuff injuries happen.
The hope is that you will practice a prudent and age appropriate conditioning program to be a hedge against injury.
Oh yes, always perform warm ups and cool downs accordingly.
