Mo Pinel Overview - Splitting The 8-9 vs. 1-3-5-9 Strikes

Post by bowl1820 »

In this segment, Mo Pinel takes a viewer question in regards to what is a better strike comparing shots that split the 8-9 vs. the traditional 1-3-5-9 ball path and carry.

bowl1820-thanks for the post.

Maybe and interesting debate can occur with Freeman and Hatfield's position as expressed in chapter 10 in their new tome BOWLING BEYOND THE BASICS: What's Really Happening On The Lanes, And What You Can Do About It. An interesting work to say the least. While I have not quite finished it, agree with them or disagree with them, it is an important work.

I started reading their tome, but got involved in other reading of a rather important nature. Regrettably, I am neither a fast or voracious reader. However Gary, you've given me reason to get back to the Freeman and Hatfield work. My take will be that of a layman as I lack the scientific background.
