Pin under layouts with balance holes converted to new rules
From the videos he posts hopefully Megamav chimes in, but has anyone found a layout that produces the same reaction as say a popular 55x4ishx75 with p3 hole? This seems to be a favorite layout for a lot of pros but wondering what PB3 and others will do once the P3 is gone? The 15x4 1/2x35 looks interesting from Radical or are people trying Mo’s suggestion to drill fingers and thumb deeper like a symmetrical? Just seeing if anyone has started to convert with any luck.

either really. Most of my symmetrical have holes for performance and I’ve had one asymmetrical with a hole because of clipping the thumb when I add rotation. Just wondering if going pinup with surface is the way of the future to get the smooth arc pin down usually produce.
Ok just watched the new conspiracy hybrid video and he states the psa on the Val gives the look. So I guess I would ask have you tried the fingers and thumb in symmetrical yet? Does it compare to a p3?

I have no idea what you are talking about.44boyd wrote:So I guess I would ask have you tried the fingers and thumb in symmetrical yet? Does it compare to a p3?
Balance holes are in most cases used to speed up transition.
Layout accordingly to speed up transition if you want to make the adjustment.
The adjustment is not the same for symmetricals as it is for asymmetricals.
Your answer of "either really" cant apply to the one layout you gave on both core types.
The amount of adjustment on asyms depends on the starting diff ratio, so asyms are not one-size-fits-all.
Some PSAs move, some dont. It depends on the amount of starting asymmetry.

Not long after that seminar, Jayhawk inquired about these deeper "pocket holes" or "pilot holes".44boyd wrote:Ok good talk.
