Looking for any tips or advice on bowling at the Gold Coast. Pattern is the TAT pattern which is 40 ft with 27.6 ml of oil. I am a high rev, 2 handed bowler. I have heard that it has a lot of friction as well as in front of the desk has more lane play so it results in being tighter but looking for anymore information I can gather such as 15 hooks more then 16, fronts are dry on 40-60 etc. Thanks

Re: Bowling at the Gold Coast
The Gold Coast has the oldest synthetic lanes in Las Vegas. I believe they were last "replaced" (new sheets of material over the old) in 2000 or 2002. The resulting lanes are very uneven from lane to lane and pair to pair. The only pair that I remember specifically is 25/26. For a right hander, 26 hooks about five boards more than 25. The best assumption that you can make about any lane at Gold Coast (or any center, for that matter), is no assumption at all. Good luck!
