From the above comparison, Kegel lane conditioner "Current" has low to none pin calls. Can anyone explain what "pin call" is? Thanks.

I can't access the link at work....

But I imagine it has to do with oil getting into the pin deck area and causing out of ranges or other machine stoppages due to oil being on the surface of the pins.

If you apply too much oil too far down lane you can get a lot of pins sliding around and not falling over due to carry down. This will lead to out of range calls and thus reducing the number of games per day or add time to the amount needed to finish a game. That means lost revenue.

Same with getting oil on pins, this can lead to issues with pinsetter stoppages and having the same affect.

The time it takes for the bowler to realize there is a problem, plus the time it takes for the desk to reply, then time for the mechanic to clear the stoppage can be significant and is one of the biggest points of reference centers monitor. Centers keep track of total stoppages per lane to identify issues before something major occurs.

Think of it as "Calls for pin replacement or out of range"
