Tips for Seniors ????

Post by kajmk »

Created to provide a go to reference ...
Fully knowing all folks are different in body, mind, spirit, experience.
Hmm, just like folks in their prime, just more mileage.
Met a Vet the other day, his cap said he was a Korean and Vietnam vet.
I told him, man you do not look old enough!
He is 81, obviously he selected the right parents.

Be that as it may, I think it would be nice to seek input here.

Coaching seniors is in my opinion an under developed market.
I think that's true of the other extreme, the very young and growing.
Note, this is not unique to bowling, it's a societal and cultural thing.
Do we by marketing or habit, foster an attitude of self fulfilling prophecy or expectation?

Be that as it may, I found very little out there. No books, no videos etc.

Satchel Paige quipped, "If you did not know how old you were, how old would you be?"

Just trying to grow the sport and seek help for those who want it.
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.
