Kegel Arrow, a 3D reference tool , coaching aid

Post by kajmk »

Lead paragraph

The Arrow is a 3D Reference Tool that gives players a physical reference point to see when working on a variety of drills. Visualize your set-up position, pushaway, finish position and more! Compare your technique to something you can see and feel to train yourself quickly. This dynamic tool can take the place of many coaching aids.

If you got the money, they do have some cool toys. I'd like the one where it projects your targets on the lane.

Recall the Vicker's and Crews studied tracking the gaze of golfers. There was a Nova with Alan Alda illustrating this. A golfing magazine and BTM had articles on this.
Search for "Brainy" Putting on this forum and surf the web. A lot of the videos and pages are no longer available though. Somewhere I'm sure someone had captured and recorded this or similar information.

Blue skying, cost aside.
A device worn on the bowler's head, receptors at the pin deck area.
One could look to military tech for ideas and adaptation.

A big key is the human imagination ...

Lower budget, old tech solutions are also possible ...

Be well, be safe, be happy.

Arrow is less than the cost of a new bowling ball.

Arrow release is sometime this month, TorchX next month.

Can't wait to own them.

Any chance we will see a Jim Merrell demo??
Here I am giving a presentation in a recent class. Given the caliber of my work, I must conceal my face.

Hmmm, Looks like another simple diy project.

A ball cup, a bowling ball, adjustable rod (like a old adjustable paint brush handle or pvc and a compression fitting), a universal joint, a length of rod (wood dowel etc.) and a tennis ball.
