Makes a lot of sense. However some places have computer systems that do not have that as an option or the person at the desk does not know how to select the option. When scoreless bowling is not available I have had 2 or 3 names put into the computer scoring system and had my student bowlers simply bowl. Don't use the same number of names as number of bowlers.

In the old days of paper scoring I would just put a check mark for each frame instead of keeping score when I practiced. You could do the same on a blank sheet of paper. -- JohnP
