I'm off to Syracuse at the end of May and I have yet to see one ball shown from a lefty.
I listened to McNeil talk about how they were accessible, but carry was an issue.
From what I gather, team is shorter (38-39 feet) and the minors are like 44'.
Anybody got anything?

Not a lefty, but I’ve already bowled. No lefties in our group at all, so I can’t help much there, but I can provide some general details.Mongo wrote:I'm off to Syracuse at the end of May and I have yet to see one ball shown from a lefty.

Carry wasn’t really an issue for me at all.
Team is definitely shorter, I’d guess 37-38 feet. However, my group didn’t see the minors as long as others have been saying. In fact, we all started right up 5, which should be way OOB on a 44 foot pattern. We were all using plenty of surface to start (1000 grit for me). It broke down nicely for us. I’d say it’s more like 41 feet but very heavy, which can be overcome by having enough surface on your ball.
Bowl the Bowlers Journal. For us, it seemed to play pretty true to the D/S at the main event.
