Kegel Intensive Road Show

Post by JMerrell »

Enrollment for this event will be maxed out at 32 athletes in order to maintain a productive student to coach ratio.

So, if you ever thought about going to Kegel in Florida or would like to understand how to get your game to the next level, don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity in Middletown, Ohio.

I will be a camp director for this event, so I hope to see you there

It doesn't tell you much on it, how does it differ from going to kegal? Do you get more time with the coaches then you get on the one in FL? I see it is 3 days long. usually $500 only gets 1/2 day with one coach in Dallas or there or is it best to call the number to get more info?

I know the obvious is that if someone can't get to florida or Dallas, then that will be the closest thing possible.

This is a camp......not intended to be one on one for three days! Most people get far more out of a three-day camp than they will spending a day of one on one. You have already experienced one on one sessions, did they provide all the answers you need to take your game to the next level?

I know the obvious is that if someone can't get to florida or Dallas, then that will be the closest thing possible.
1) One on one analysis of your physical game, and a personalized development plan to improve.

2) Learn about lane play and how it applies to your physical game.

3) How to analyze a lane pattern and develop a proper strategy of where to start and how the pattern will transition and your adjustments to the transition

4) This will be accomplished thru a combination of classroom education and on lane time during your three days at the camp.

5) This camp will be from 9-4 for three days. Each coach will have a maximum of eight students per day for those three days.

6) 32 athletes will be the maximum camp number.

7) There are two coaches shown on the flyer, more coaches will be added from the Kegel Staff as enrollment increases, in order to maintain the student to coach ratio.

Call the number with any other questions.

There is also a one day camp in York, PA on Saturday April 14th, from 9-4 with Del. Cost is $250 or $375 with bowling ball.

Now I'm having second thoughts about attending a PBA Eastern Regional that day. I'll probably never have the financial means to fly to Florida for a session at Kegel.

Jim, do you know if they have a minimum required attendance for these camps? Right now, only 3 are signed up.

Figuring in travel expenses, hotel and coaches fee.....I don't think 3 students will cover that.

It never ceases to amaze me how much money some people spend on equipment to bowl better. But, won't invest money for education to bowl better with their existing equipment!

I don't know if Facebook is the only way to sign up. I hope not. Even if I do sign up, four isn't going to cut it either. I'll have to check things out more.

Years ago, one of the coaches at the Ritger camp wanted to a clinic in my area. It ended up I was the only participant, so we did some one on one coaching for several sessions. I'm with you Jim; I'd rather spend money and learn how to throw what I have better than be a member of the ball of the month club.

A ton of wisdom from the Maestro!

I'm looking forward to feedback on this event ...
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,

I called down to Kegel this morning and got signed up for the clinic in York, PA. It's going to be totally awesome working with a coaching legend like Del Warren. We'll see how much I can improve this summer. I'll be bowling in a summer league that will be on Kegel Challenge and Sport patterns, plus, I'll get three free games a day. I finally got back to the gym after six months, so I should be in much better physical condition. I'll officially qualify for the senior menu in a few weeks, so I need it.

That's what I love about our great sport; you never arrive and there's always something to work on. Who knows, maybe I'll actually get competitive enough to do some tournaments again.
