Does anyone have any information on the rotation of the top pros?
Obviously they can vary, but in general it seems less rotation is the norm.

I believe Mo talked about this in his five-part podcast series with above180
IIRC, the average he measured on tour was 58º.

That has been my observation watching the shows. Obviously someone that's taken measurements would be a better source, but what I see looks like lower rotation than what I see the average bowler using. I surmise that is due to the difference in rev rates and oil patterns between the THS bowler and the pros, with pros having higher rev rates on average and bowling on flatter patterns with more hooking backends = less rotation scores better.

Obviously PDW is an exception and there are likely others.

I have notice that too.

Are they decreasing it to tame down their backend reaction?

I believe most fall in the 35-55 degree of axis rotation. imho

Keep in mind the majority of these players are rev dominant.

Their main objective is to control ball motion as it leaves the end of the pattern, not increase it with excessive axis rotation. PW has always been and will always be the exception.
