I'm confused. I've learned on this site that full rollers have 0 degrees of axis tilt. I also know that Shannon Pluhowsky is a full roller. But, on episode 6 of "Earl's Journey to 900," they decide to mimic Shannon's release specs, and there they state that her axis tilt is 24 degrees.
Supposedly, although she is considered a full roller, her track does not go between the thumb and finger holes. But, can one be a full roller and have 24 degrees of tilt? I'm thinking this is not possible.
Thoughts?

Re: Shannon Pluhowsky - Axis Tilt
I have seen No evidence that proves Shannon is a full roller.
There was another thread that had some discussion about it.

Some of the folks in the Phoenix Arizona area, bowl in leagues with her father.
If you see him ask him and if he replied, please forward it.
Cheerio.

Re: Shannon Pluhowsky - Axis Tilt
According to user jbungard who said he bowled with her had a old post that said:
"Shannon Pluhowsky is not a full-roller. She is a 3/4 roller with an inverted track (track closer to fingers than her thumb). I bowl with her dad a couple of times a week. Shannon subs for her dad on occasion."
IMO part of the problem is the strict adherence to only the use of the "Classic" definition of a Full Roller.
Meaning if it's not 0° tilt, 90° rotation AND tracks between the fingers and thumb., then it's not a full roller.
Going by past threads that discussed this and the USBC info.
A more modern definition of a full roller seems to be, as long as you have a track size that is equal to or close to the circumference of the ball. (Meaning it can have a slight amount of tilt) Then you could be called a full roller, regardless if you are tracking between the finger/thumb holes or not.
Just a FYI:
Looking through the old 2005 Bronze Manual, they list the "rolls" this way:
"Shannon Pluhowsky is not a full-roller. She is a 3/4 roller with an inverted track (track closer to fingers than her thumb). I bowl with her dad a couple of times a week. Shannon subs for her dad on occasion."
