New to forum-not to bowling-Need a fitter in MD

Post by Jp6940 »

Hello,
I am 44 years old and bowled my first 300 at age 19 after getting my Track "code red" at Anderson Gaines pro shop in Baltimore. I returned a year later to get my Track "nrg" ball drilled. That was 15 years ago!! Hahaha!
They do not drill anymore.
I purchased a "new" ball after my wife rolled an awesome game and now we are back into bowling...
I need a few educated bowlers/fitters here to help guide me.
I appreciate your help in advance!
The fit is still good on the balls so....do I need to drive hours to get my ball fitted or just take my balls to a shop and have them mimick the drill pattern?
I bowl at Southbound Alley (formerly Cherokee Lanes) and conditions are dry to medium dry.

Just a reminder, if you find or are aware of ProShops or Instructors you or a trusted source would recommend, please add them to the map. Doing so is very easy and will be a great service to the bowling community.

Competent and forthright bowling industry professionals deserve patronage and acknowledgement.

It's as easy as
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8314&hilit=Primer" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Cheerio!
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.
