Here is a question I have. Lets say that everything else being equal. Which one of these would you perfer if you hit the pocket in the right place.
#1 16lb ball 275 revs 16.5 mph
#2 15lb ball 375 revs 15.7 mph (7 is inentional)
There is a formula F=MA so according to that #1 would be better.. #2 would maybe "spin" the pins and get more pin action.
Which one would you perfer to hit the pocket with and why?
Which one is better ball speed, revs, weight etc

Re: Which one is better ball speed, revs, weight etc
I'd rather hit the pocket with slower speed, less deflection and less corner pins.
Adapt or perish!
PAP 4 1/8, 1/2 up
Axis Rotation 20
Axis Tilt 23
Rev rate 280
Speed Dominate / Rev Challenged
14-16mph at monitor

My gut feeling is that being "matched" (ratio of rpms to speed) with all other metrics being sufficient and consistently applied to deal with the physics of the task at hand is a goal to strive for.
