Who Remembers Pro-Grips ?

Post by coolerman »

They made Adjust-A-Grip adjustable finger inserts. They were
easy to adjust, just use your house or car key,put the key into
the insert, and turn the slot at the bottom of insert. It made the
insert larger or smaller.I used them first in 1986.I only used
them for two years, then started using Vise.

I can't remember the cost. The company was DBA Products
from IL.don't remember the city. What happened to the product.
They worked well enough, were the too far ahead for their time.

It's been a long time ago, but I remember them. They had the same kind of thumb inserts also. Good idea, until some bowlers got so clever to put some lead under.
Rules got changed than, now the bottom of the slug should always be open for inspection. THat made the end to this product.
