Fast forward to about 51 seconds or so.

All kidding aside, so many kids start this way.
The ball is huge. This is a way to allow them to have fun, and just maybe create bowlers for life. This is something I've mentioned in bowling centers seeing kids try to bowl the "traditional" way trying to walk past a beachball twice on their way to a gutter ball, getting frustrated. One way to fun for kids is feeling accomplishment and doing it on their own.
Of course physiology dictates. Coaching youth should be melded with a physical training option. Even if they stop bowling, you may have started them on a healthy life style.
Inch by inch, row by row ...

Gotta be hopping out of here now ...

May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.
