There always seems to be these magical products that professional athletes wear. Phitten products in baseball, the Q-link from awhile ago, now this.
I find their claims of what any of these products can do to be so far fetched. What is your take on a product such as this?
The balance drills they do / strength test is such a hoax in my opinion. If I had more time, I would take a household product, like paper, fold it into a square, maybe color it - and try and pull this on some friends - claim my paper is magic and their will become better balanced and their strength. I bet it would work if I could just not laugh while telling them how magical it was.
Anyways what do you all think. Placebo? Why don't they do some useful studies with it.
If you think these things are great, check out this 5 minute youtube video, of a similar product with similar amazing effects, put to test by the actual inventor of it.

There are alot of MLB players who wear these little magnet patches on different areas that are nagging them or in pain. They buy them by the boat load when they are in Seattle, as the company who makes them is right new Safeco park. I think for some people, there is a connection with the magnets/copper or whatever is in them that effects them, and for others its useless.
From talking to baseball players over the years, some swear by these type of devices, and some try them and say they do not work.
The connection to why some people feel they work, that I do not know or understand.

I had a Q-Link. Within a week of wearing it, I had an 800 series. Whooptie Do, nothing special here. I didn't feel any sudden superman powers, nor increased energy. I lost the thing one night when the cheesy rope necklace came un-done and fell somewhere. I was in no hurry to replace it.
Not a believer....but some are. Talk to your local sports medicine doctor, or chiropractor and they will tell you how hokey these things are. Who knows really...

Re: EFX Wristbands - and others like it.
Im not sure how this topic is relevant to bowling.
I've been waiting to see this thread develop into something.
I think its just another "ice to an Eskimo" product.

Re: EFX Wristbands - and others like it.
Its relevant because they are marketing it to bowlers and I suppose anyone else.
