Ball cleaning after league pearl vs sanded

Post by Ezeeduzit »

After a three game set of league bowling ( 41' typical house shot if that matters), what do you do to clean/touch up a pearl or polished ball vs a sanded/solid ball. While still at the lanes before going home. Example Proton Physix vs Astrphysix or even a UC2.
Different cleaners used?
Thanks

I use the storm reacta foam after every league or practice session on both types of balls. Then after every 9-10 games i use an abralon pad on my sanded balls that’s the same grit that I have on the ball currently, and on a polished ball I use the storm reacta shine after 9-10 games. After 25 games with a polished ball I scuff the surface with a 4000 grit abralon pad, and then use the reacta shine polish, as most storm balls that are polished are actually finished with 4000 when polished is applied. After 60-75 games I have the balls detoxed and resurfaced. Hope this helps.
