Glute & Thigh ache

Post by ballspoint »

Last night at league i tried to rotate my shoulders more and get lower down at the release point, i started to get a ache top of my thigh and glute, (bum muscle) left side as i am right handed. Would this be normal as in muscles not being much used before ? or a strain because i am doing something wrong?

When the ache goes away do 3-4 sets of squats 2-3 times a week. Do as many as you can per set. Remember to keep hydrated, eat well and rest at night, those muscles are growing.

I have been doing this exercise...man it hurts stretching, this is a good hurt as the muscle is tight compared to my right side. Hope others have tried this, especially the seniors like me.
