Find the highest red bar In The composite graph at the both of the page. Exit the pattern right of that spot (if right handed). Move feet to hit pocket.

I just read your post.

Check the wiki for additional information and food for thought.
Try to familiarize yourself with as many systems and theories as you can.
Consider them guidelines not immutable laws.
Add them to your bag of tricks.
Use them for an initial reconnaissance of the lane.
Topography of the lanes will be a major influence.
Observe how others are playing the lanes, what they are using etc.
If a style of play is working better than others and you have that as a B game, consider that as an option.
Be aware of the scoring pace and try to get a feel for what you need.
If it's a carry contest, well then it's a carry contest.

Keep an open mind!!!
Believe your eyes.
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.

This is an excellent overview. Every player should be familiar with this information.
