I seem to have a slow internet connection when going into the BowlingChat University area. I had to take the test 201 twice because I ran out of time due to it taking 2 to 3 minutes or more to get from one question to the next. I have high speed cable internet at home, which was faster than at work, but still slow compared to when I took test 101. Is there something I need to adjust on my computer to get a faster connection?

I see about a 10 second wait time at most between pages at this time.Daryl wrote:I seem to have a slow internet connection when going into the BowlingChat University area. I bumped up the memory usage on the application, so that may help.
I would recommend clearing your cache and make sure you have cookies enabled.
Wired internet could help, but is not necessary unless your signal strength is iffy.
I have my hosting company looking into the intermittent slowness issue, it seems to be random and site wide, not just BCU.

Re: Slow Internet Connection
It's actually the overhead of loading up the Moodle Core with every request. One of the drawbacks of PHP, I'm afraid. Moodle loads a LOT of classes every request. Just the nature of the beast.
