Would that be correct?
I am finding small corrections like this make up the big picture...thanks.
First a few questions
1) What are you and your coach working on?
2) What were your coach’s comments when you couldn’t hit your target?
3) By lower down do you mean increased knee bend and continuation?
4) Rotated hips how far open? Over rotation is not good.
Doug Kent
1) As you can see his trail leg is in the process of moving left as the ball enters the release area and continues moving left during the release.
2) His hips are open as the ball enters the release area but remain
stable as the trail leg continues left.
3) His lateral spine tilt allows the ball to fall from the top of the back swing to a position under his head.
4) After release his right arm continues down the intended target line and ends up in front of his face.
Hitting the target
1) Starts with proper body alignment with the target line at address
2) The ball being in line with the head at the top of the swing
3) Lateral spine tilt
3) Allowing gravity to control the down swing.
Leverage is just a by-product of the all of the above.
