I purchased Coaches' Eye last year from the Windows app store for $10. Loved the software. Importing from iPad was a breeze, editing, forward/rewind, exporting...just a great video editor.
So, a couple of weeks ago, I had to wipe my PC to clean it up and ended up losing the app. I went to the App store and it redirected me to the website, where I discovered it's now a subscription service charging $10/month.
That's ridiculous.
So, now, I'm in search of a comparable app for my PC. I downloaded Kinovea and I'm not impressed.
I'm using Coach My Video on my iPad, but there isn't a PC version.
Any suggestions?

Any chance your re-install left a "windows.old" folder? Some installs will leave one even if you don't ask for it. If it did, it might have a copy of your app.

Negative.
Kind of ballsy to go from $9.99 to $120/yr subscription
