What would make you a better coach?
Your list, comments, observations, ideas ...
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.

Certainly couldn't hurt.spr3wr wrote:Going to the Kegel Coaches Workshop.
Are you thinking about going some day?
Opinion follows ...
I believed Coaching/Instructing is a combination of several innate skills and acquired knowledge. Acquiring knowledge is the easy part, remembering and knowing how, when, if, to apply is of course difficult.
The act of bowling might be likened to an equation.
Every person is in theory a unique equation with numerous variables of negative and positive values. Couple that with the fact that sometimes negatives and positives are subjective.
Love to be able to sit in a room and listen, question, converse with some of the masters both past and present.

Don't keep anything in your mind, ask as many questions as you need to people you believe to have more knowledge and experience than yourself. Don't be afraid to use your creativity to develop new drills. Read a lot, especially from other disciplines that would relate to bowling. Learn how to listen. Meditate.
