You never transfer your weight to the left side. Your right foot needs to end up closer to the foul line at the end of the follow thru with your knees closer together.
Does this help create a flat spot?
If so, what happen when a bowler has had knee surgery and feels like this is too much to ask them to do. Is there any else they could do to create a flat spot?

Most of the bowlers I know who have had knee surgery never did transfer their weight forward during the release and follow thru. The knee not continuing forward turns the knee into a pressure point for the weight at release - not good.
If you view posts where Mo has commented: No flamingo's! You'll see that the person has stood up at release and put even more pressure on the knee.
