Got some great info from Triplicate (thank you again) and he suggested I pose the question here to see if anyone has any unusual circumstances arise with the MOtion Hole and short PAP distances.
My PAP is only 3-1/2" over, 1/4" up. I'm interested to see if anyone with a similar PAP has had any issues (or has had to make any adjustments) with the typical layout for the MOtion Hole (pin above ring finger, 10" - 11" to the hole).
Also curious as to whether anyone with a high tilt (mine is 24) has run into any issues.
Thank you
Short PAP and MOtion Hole

Re: Short PAP and MOtion Hole
I have a similar PAP.3 1/2 over 1/2 up.Tilt is 26*.I have a DestroyR,2 Perpetual Motions,Ringer,Lunatic, and a Nightmare with the MOtion hole.No issues due to my PAP.On only one ball(NM) did we have to move the hole to so it wouldn't flare over the hole.
Not sure why you would think that your PAP would cause any problems or create any unique problems.

Re: Short PAP and MOtion Hole
I was just trying to verify. To me when I see something that says for PAPs under 5" I think that 3-1/2" is a great deal less than that and I would hate to ruin a new ball by not asking some simple questions.
Thanks for the info that you've had no issues with this...much appreciated.

Re: Short PAP and MOtion Hole
your only concern is getting the pin into a high flare area 3-4" from PAP, and make sure the hole is to the left of the initial flare line if you're a righty, the opposite for a lefty.

Re: Short PAP and MOtion Hole
Pin above ring finger gets me at almost 4". I'm a lefty. Can you elaborate on what you mean by getting the hole to the right of the initial flare line. Won't be drilling the ball until next Thursday.
Thanks
