Have my first Morich ball

Post by Graaille »

Ez LevRG, but can't find any info on it. Looked at the numbers for the LevRG series so I have an idea of the strength of the core, but since there is a signifigant enough variance w/in the LevRG line, I would love to have Mo and/or friends chime in so I can have accurate RG/diff numbers, and an idea of the strength of the coverstock. Trying to decide which dual angle layout I want to put on it.

Yeah, I knew it was one of them, but just wasn't sure which one. If the kids hadn't messed up my digital camera, I'd post a pic of it. It's a light purple - almost pearl like. It does say it's USBC certified, and the serial starts with KZG if that helps.

The EZ LevRG was made for the Japanese market and sold by ABS in Japan. It is the same core as the LevRG (specs are on the MoRichbowling website). The difference is the coverstock. The ES LevRG has a C4 Pearl Reactive coverstock. This results in the ball getting down the lane further with a slightly sharper break point than the regular LevRG. The Japanese bowlers tend to throw the ball a little slower than we do and they use less oil than we do. The change in the cover was used to adapt that core to their environment. The ball, also, came polished OOB.

Thanks Mo, that helps immensely in the decision making process.
