Static Weight Question

Post by the bowlers edge »

if i was to get a ball with a 4-5 pin that had 5 oz of top, and used a double thumb layout, is it possible to get the thumb/side weight out of it? Or should i skip this ball and try and get one with less top. Its an x-out so its pretty cheap.

It will work well if you drill the fingers 3 1/2" deep and use a 1 3/8" thumb slug or, even better, an interchangeable thumb. You'll be able to use a big balance hole, which will make the reaction really strong.
