Mania
I just got this drilled, not going to practice until Sunday or Tuesday. What do you think it is going to do? I am excited, this ball will replace my Quantum Raven, then I have two more balls to go to make all my equipment MoRich.
40/ 3 1/2 / 60 Double Thumb p4 13/16 x 3
Axis rotation is normally is about 60°. It changes with lane play.
I have 0° tilt, very high track player.
My PAP is 5 7/16' down 1/8', pitch in my fingers is 3/8 up.
Don't have RPM yet, it is over 350 though. Being humble here, it is alot more.
Ball speed can be in excess of 25 mph, but prefer to stay around 15-18 mph
Yes it is a pink insert. There is a story behind it but a brown thumb oval insert doesn't exist yet.

Re: Mania
a P4 wt hole doesn't automatically make it a double thumb. A double thumb would have your thumb and mass bias and wt hole all in very close proximity.your val angle would be 30* instead of 60* and your pin to pap distance would be 4 inches.

Re: Mania
Double thumb isn't a mass bias drilled through.
It's a drilling in which the pin is 4" from the bowler's PAP, The angle to the VAL is 30 degreess. The mb is placed 1/2" right of the thumb, the balance hole is 1.5" from thumb.
Mass bias in between thumb and xhole, (maybe alittle below them depending on span).
Called a double thumb, because the x hole resembles a second thumb.

Re: Mania
if that is a 40 3 1/2 60 then it should roll fairly early with a long smooth backend who told you it had these angles? Did you measure them?

I just left my ball driller about 2 hours ago. To keep it legal I think. Ball has 3.5 pin and 2.5 top.

Thanks to all the guys that explained that this is not a "Double Thumb" layout! All "Double Thumb" layouts use a 4" pin to PAP distance and a 30* angle to the VAL. Placing the balance hole in the PSA just makes it a P4 drilling.
This ball has a medium transition drilling with a lot of total diff. Should produce continuous hook.
Please reference the "Double Thumb" layout technique at www.morichbowling.com.

Re: Mania
The ball is very versitle as long as there is oil in the heads. But I am sure if I polish it it would work. This is my first ball with the Awakening core (VIGOR is the coverstock). I own just about all ez rev, and awesome line. I can tell you that this ball will take the spot of 2 balls. I can see this ball owning oil patterns.MattCosta7 wrote: Let us know how it rolls! Sunday practice
Starting point BreakPoint
12 5
16 6
lanes started to break
24 10
30 12
Lanes broke down
34 15
46 17
How many other balls can go that far? I could of played gutter cap, but had already bowled 10 games, with 5 other players on pair. The Mania is a great ball. Like all other MoRich products, it hooks, always the over hardly the under reaction.
