Ball Issues drilling angles

Hi Guys,
Introduced by you guys with the dual angle drilling i was curious how my balls were drilled since most were drilled in the old fashion style.. I measured some older balls and got some intresting stuff i think..
Like a ebonite stinger with a 75 x 4 x 70 drilling witch goes straight in the oil.. (duh)
but it hooks insanely and harder, then any recent ball i have, in the dry..
I m comparing some old balls like a Columbia Cuda with a Mutant Cell..By coincidence they are drilled similair! Both 65 x 3 x 40 and a 2 inch distance from pap to val..
The cuda may be my highest scoring ball ever.. i ve got it 7 years ago, a brand new one..
But asking myself, since the Mutant Cell doesnt come close to the reaction of the cuda.. On House pattern, how is it possible??? Or just no good lay out for the Cell??? If thats so the difference is immens...
For myself i like bowling with lots of lenght with incredible snap reaction instead of arcing.. Unless it comes to like 45 ft of oil..
So i put my favorite 6 balls of the last 8 years next to eachother:
Cuda 65 x 3 x 40
Tripple extreme 20 x 5 x 25
Shock Trauma 20 x 3,5 x 25
Storm 2 fast 60 x 5 1/8 x 30
Storm Passion 20 x 6 x 35
Storm Agent 40 x 5 x 30
The only thing i can get out of it is that balls drilled with VAL angles below 40 are great for me.. but the drilling angle seems to be more variable... how is this possible??
Some ball drilling that didnt work for me, mostly because the reaction was to late or they dont come out of the oil..
Ebonite nvs: 20 x 5 x 60
Storm Thunderstruck: 55 x 2.5 x 20
Storm Fire Power: 70 x 3,5 x 25
Brunswick Fury: 45 x 5,5 x 10
Storm Domination: 45 x 3,5 x 30
Is there a standard drilling for every bowler that will suites them best??? Or that just not possible...??? I understand you must vary on differend lane conditions..
Well thats it for now... wait for your reply first
