Re: layout advise for high tilt on THS
20* is not really considered high tilt.
When you look at the Dual Angle Ratio Guide...
http://wiki.bowlingchat.net/wiki/index. ... atio_Guide
You will notice 20* is right in the middle. It gives you the most options when is comes to choosing layouts.
I always start with the Benchmark then work from there.
Sweetspot 1:1 Ratio 90* Totals
Asymmetrical Layouts
Totally Strong ................... 45-5-25
Midlane .......................... 25-4.5-45
Benchmark ..................... 45-4-45
Long and Strong ............... 65-4-45
Control ......................... 45-4-65
low flare ....................... 65-2.25-45
Symmetrical Layouts
Benchmark .................... xx-4-40
Control ........................ xx-4.5-60
low flare (low Rg) ........... xx-2.25-40
low flare (high Rg) ........... xx-5-35
Benchmark is a Strong layout for THS conditions
I recommend the long and strong, Control and low flare layouts.
Your PAP measurement would definitely help in determining if any of my suggestions need to be adjusted to keep the pin away from the finger hole edges. Ball choice also plays a roll when actually choosing a layout as well. My lists are a starting point.

Re: layout advise for high tilt on THS
The higher tilt helps counteract the rev dominance you have.
Lowering the totals 5* and making the Ratio .25 lower at 1:1.25
How do you want the ball to react?
What line of play are you looking to use?

Re: layout advise for high tilt on THS
THS will be playing 12 13 out to 7 or 8 at 42 ft and chasing it in. need ball to continue through the pins corner pins are tough in this house.

"The higher tilt helps counteract the rev dominance you have."
I see the release stats as speed dominant.

Re: layout advise for high tilt on THS
When calculating in the effect of the tilt, Yes, speed dominant.
When only looking at speed to Revs 12-14 mph to 300 revs starts to push the Total angles up. Tilt brings them back down.

Re: layout advise for high tilt on THS
I still think the 40-4.5-65 is a good layout for this ball.
It is a Strong ball in both Core and Cover. It is a House shot league.
Adjust the surface Dull if the speed is actually there or shine it if it hooks or rolls too soon.
Part of the layout is also trying to keep the pin away from the ring finger.

Re: layout advise for high tilt on THS
I drilled the Results solid 65x4x30 and drilled a Prysm hybred 40x4.5x65 I have not thrown the Prysm yet. The Results need surface (2000) to read fresh THS but is to early once the pattern breaks down. Hopefull the Prysm will work then.
