The Symmetrical Pyramid Pathogen is drilled skid snap reaction for him. So I see why the request for Control on this one.
The No Rules is drilled with a ratio that is outside the basic layout range for his specs.
The Strong cover is making it usable for him.
His Sweetspot is 75* totals 1:1.75 Asymmetrical Benchmark 30-4.5-45
His Control Layout is 30-4.5-65.
Tuning the surfaces for length will be key to making it a ball down.
This layout will read the lane earlier and have a long arcing hook phase. On the right condition it will easily out hook the other 2. Many people equate the amount of hook to ball strength. This Control layout is going to look very strong. Because it will start up earlier and hook longer. It is less usable on the fresh condition but will come to life when there is friction for it.
I would try to talk him into re-drilling the No Rules and take advantage of the strong core/cover combination Roto Grip designed in it and get his arsenal tuned up.

Re: LAYOUT HELP
He actually uses the no rules a lot and likes the ball. And yes the pyramid is definitely skid snap for him.
I had him at 1:1.25 at 80 for sweet spot.
I actually plugged and redrilled no rules for him from a donation. He is a high school bowler.
It was an attempt at long and strong?
Can you please explain

I lowered the totals an extra 5* for being left handed and having less lane play on his side.Lledsmarttam wrote:He actually uses the no rules a lot and likes the ball. And yes the pyramid is definitely skid snap for him.

Yes I see the Long and Strong attempt compensating for the stronger cover with both the Drilling angle and the Pin to PAP. I will say good work on making it a usable ball for him.
The strong core/cover would, in my opinion, sit better at Benchmark or Stronger in a arsenal.
I would not recommend low flare on an Asymmetrical for a bowler with more than 20* of tilt.
Another thing to note about the Nexus, The mass bias rating is only .012. It will be pulled toward the thumb. I wouldn't worry about it revving up too early.
