Desert Ops Layout

I have a friend that eats up our house shot late in the block with a Desert Ops.

I found one and I’m looking to bounce layout ideas off you guys.

Specs:
Axis Tilt: 17*
Axis Rotation: 55*
RR: 360
Speed: 16

Couple of thoughts:

1) Drill it very low flare with higher sums, something like 75 x 1 3/4 x 40.

2). Drill it “normal” for me, so something like 60x4x35, and let the weakness of the core/cover combo get the ball up the lane for me.

My issues with the house shot is once I get to 20 with my eyes things start getting pretty over/under to me. So I figure I have a couple choices. Go more surface with a milder ball to blend the pattern or try to stay a touch further right with something weaker.

I really dont want a completely condition specific ball so I’m concerned about drilling it with the first layout.

If you like staying a little right the 75x2 1/4x35 layout of the future would work with some more surface like Mo suggests

Weak cover, Weak core and a Weak layout is a recipe for disaster.

Your hunch to drill it "normal" is a good one.

Why is Mo calling it the layout of the future?

I’d like to get my hands on the 10 new layouts Mo released.

Something about using it on stronger balls with surface to lessen the angles but keep the strong hit at the pins.
