First post looking for ball and brace advice

I'm not really a bowler but my mom is. jist of the story. My mom has been an avid bowler all her life (was around a 200 average for the longest time). Used to bowl in local groups etc. Now that she has gotten older she has started to develop rheumatoid arthritis in her hands. She's about 75 now. She had her own ball drilled and done for her 40 years ago as gift from a bowling friend. She loved that thing and bowled with it, but it has just got too heavy for her and she's gone down to a specific alley ball she could hold "somewhat" comfortably that was a 11-12 lbs.

Lately she has become alittle disheartened because her hand and wrist are getting tired by the end of the night and her average falls off even with the lighter ball. Basically not as competitive as she was and it's alittle disheartening for her. I was considering perhaps getting her a new ball and maybe a brace.

I'm not really much of a bowler, but was looking to see if there was some advice out there if I were to go through with it as to what ball to look at or what braces work good for those with arthritis etc. Thanks
