Layout Suggestions - Symmetric Cores - Medium Speed

Post by rkj4243 »

Looking for some thoughts on layouts for a symmetric core balls.

Will be using them on sport conditions, as well as THS.

Sport conditions here for senior tournaments typically are slightly flatter, heavier volume THS conditions.

My specs:
Ball Speed: 14.6 - 15.5 at pin deck
Tilt: 10
Axis Rotation: 65
PAP: 5" straight over
Revs: 280 - 320

Positive Axis Point: 4-3/4" and 1/2"up
Speed: 16 off hand
Rev Rate: 330
Axis Tilt: 12
Axis Rotation: 45
Heavy Oil Ball: Radical Tremendous, EVO solid, Hammer Obsession
Medium Oil Ball: EVO pearl, True Motion, Columbia Command, DV8 Intimidator
Light Oil Ball: Blue Hammer
Location: Michigan

I would want to know what Symmetrical ball you are considering.
Generally speaking I would be looking at a low flare set up, pin above your ring finger something like 75-5-35 on something with a differential of more than .050

PAP 4.75" up 1/2"
45* rotation

Eric,

Considering these (4):

Roto Grip Dare Devil Danger
Roto Grip All Out Show Off
Radical Ridiculous Pearl
Roto Grip Hustle Ink

Should cover the conditions I may see.

Nothing in your list for Heavy oil, you have nothing to help burn up a line on a flatter condition.
With such a list a variety of layouts and surfaces will be needed.

Drilling angles to the Cg

Roto Grip Dare Devil Danger ............. 50-4-30 bal hole 1.5" below midline on the VAL 1000 grit
Roto Grip All Out Show Off ............... 65-4-45 P3 2000 grit
Radical Ridiculous Pearl ................... 70-5-35 4000 grit
Roto Grip Hustle Ink ........................ 65-4.75-65 balance hole 2" below midline on the VAL 2000 grit

grit references are just a suggested starting point
