Questions about deTerminator

Post by ads »

1. The instruction manual tells how to place an undrilled ball on the deTerminator and run. How about drilled ball where the initial PSA / PIN / CG may have shifted?

http://www.jayhawkbowling.com/DeTermina ... manual.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

2. Suppose the true PSA of a drilled ball is located, how can I find out the true PIN?

Thanks.

This is a question I asked of Mo, and the answer I got was the Low RG axis is close to 6 3/4" from the new High RG axis (PSA) which you spin up on the drilled ball on the DeTerminator. From all the CAD work I've studied the Low RG axis also shifts away from the fingers slightly.

Is there a particular procedure to follow to place a drilled ball onto a DeTerminator? The manual only shows the step for an undrilled ball.

What is RG swing? Can anyone share me a picture of how it looks like?

A RG swing is shown in this video:

You should also look at these for how it's used:
Radius of Gyration (RG) of Asymmetrical Bowling Balls (SOP-BALL-1)

Radius of Gyration (RG) of a Symmetrical Bowling Ball (SOP-BALL-2)
