Help with a down and in ball and drill

Post by jsluk »

Looking to pick up a 14 lb. Motiv Venom Shock and drill the ball to use for a down and in shot. I have a Strike King drilled with a motion hole but this does not work so well in the fresh THS house shot. I also have balls which I can swing playing 15 board and deeper. For example, #14 MoRich Craze at 60x2.25x40 P2. Also, I have a #14 Storm VG at 40x4x40 P2. Now this one I never use due to the short oil THS league conditions.

Is the Motiv Shock a good candidate? I don't think that I need very high total differential for this purpose. All my current equipment is pearled and they go long and break sharp due to my slow speed and high rotation. Thus I thought maybe a solid would help better with starting sooner but continue through the pattern.

I am thinking something like 60 x 3 x 70 for the Shock. What do you suggest? Thanks.
