Where is the CG on a Columbia Benchmark?
I'm sure this is a pretty easy question, but I just want to be sure. I just picked up a new Columbia Benchmark and I'm trying to plan out a layout before I have it drilled. Is the CG marking the small yellow dot underneath the word "Columbia?" It's so tiny, I can't tell if it's an out-of-box blemish or not. If not, where is the CG?
Re: Where is the CG on a Columbia Benchmark?
Yep. It's somewhere near the center of that logo, if it's correctly marked.
Re: Where is the CG on a Columbia Benchmark?
Thanks. It looks exactly like the small dot for the "i" in Columbia, so it was difficult to distinguish.

An undrilled symmetrical doesn't spin up on a deTerminator. You can use a dodo scale to find the CG on any symmetrical or asymmetrical, pre- or post-drilling.

I haven't drilled a Benchmark, but the cg on Columbia balls is usually marked by a small engraving that looks like a hand and has a small dot in it. -- JohnPBenLeong wrote:I'm sure this is a pretty easy question, but I just want to be sure. You can find the cg on a kaufman scale with a little effort.
