Welcome to BowlingChat

My Father went through hip replacement, both hips. While he is not a bowler his recovery was for golf.
His game is back to where he was plus some pre-surgery/injury. It took some time and diligent effort to get it back. I took 2 years of rehab and playing/practicing several times a week. He has continued to improve his game even further by sticking to his exercise/practice regiment he followed during his rehab.

I found a related thread. You might try reaching out to some of the folks that have gone thru this.

Best wishes for complete recovery and return to form and the patience and discipline it takes to do so.
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.
